NS-5XL – Spalted Maple, Black Walnut & Pale Moon Ebony – Woodstock Custom Collection

Rob’s NS-5XL features a combination of custom specifications that can only be described as stunning. This NS-5XL is crafted with a black walnut back and adorned with gorgeous spalted maple top, a three-piece maple neck, pale moon ebony fingerboard and a 35” scale length. For electronics, this bass is equipped with active EMG 5MM pickups paired with Spector’s legendary HAZ 9V preamp. Aesthetically, this bass is fully loaded. The three-piece maple neck block is stained black to match the custom ebony crown inlays, ebony binding, and ebony truss rod cover. The headstock features a custom, book-matched spalted maple veneer that matches the body while the pickups themselves are veneered with pale moon ebony to match the fingerboard. A natural, high gloss finish and black hardware complete this impressive instrument
