1980 Kramer XL-8 8-String Bass Natural Aluminum Neck

Tech Notes: Guitar and electronics were cleaned and inspected. Said electronics are functioning to spec and sound great. Setup with a D'Addario EXL170-8 45-100 gauge 8 String bass set, with medium neck relief (0.020") and medium/low action (5/64ths low, 4/64ths high.) Plays comfortably and evenly throughout the entire neck with great intonation. One of the best aluminum neck Kramer guitars we have personally seen. The original strap buttons were removed by the previous owner and replaced by large screws, we replaced said screws with a new set of functioning strap buttons. There is a hole from where a previous owner mounted a strap button under the top horn (photo'd below).

Cosmetic Notes: Many bumps and dings, as well as scratching all over the body and some near the headstock. Overall very good condition for it's age.
