The Story

1966 Gibson ES-330-TDC Cherry

SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR TECH TEAM

All of our guitars come with a FREE professional setup to a comfortable action as specified by that instrument’s manufacturer. Our setups always include inspection of (and necessary adjustment to): action, intonation, tremolo angle, truss rod, frets, nut, bridge, and more. We can accommodate special setup requests - additional charges and/or shipping delays of 1-2 business days could occur.

INDIVIDUALLY PHOTOGRAPHED

After 15 years of innovation in our photography process, Ish Guitars has developed a way to get you the most accurate true-to-life color of every instrument we sell. We never embellish, oversaturate, or misrepresent our images, so that your buying experience can be as much like visiting our showroom as possible. Keep in mind that various computer screens can show colors a bit differently, so the color on your screen may not match the real thing perfectly no matter how hard we try. Also, unless otherwise noted, we individually list and photo every piece of gear that comes through our doors.

SPECS

Weight: 6.4 lbs

Case Details: Original Hardshell Case

Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition with some finish checking present throughout.  Decent sized chip on the back of the neck.  General dings/scratching throughout - please take a close look at our listing photos.

Tech Notes: Guitar, Hardware, and Electronics were cleaned/tested and are functioning appropriately. Still contains original Pots, they are clean and have no noise issues. Pot markings indicate 1966 year, in line with the guitar. Fretboard cleaned and frets polished. Tuners are straight and turning smoothly. All components of the guitar indicate it is stock factory parts to the best of our knowledge. Frets are still in great shape! Clearly been leveled a few times throughout the guitars lifetime, however are playing great with no fret buzz. Clearly was a players guitar in the past with plenty of life ahead of it. Setup with minimal neck relief and medium/low action. Plays evenly throughout the entire neck with consistent intonation/playability.

Neck Pickup 6.29k - Bridge Pickup 8.38k

Mods or Repairs: There was a neck crack at some point in the past which was repaired and structurally stable. No issues with neck angle. The nut was removed at some point (most likely during this neck crack repair) and re-glued. Appears to the best of our knowledge to be the original nut. General wear and dings throughout the guitar body.
