Cosmetic Condition:  Mandolin is in very good condition with some imperfections that have developed over the years.  There are various finish cracks around the body and checking from the nitro finish on the top, and headstock.  As noted below in our tech notes there was also a crack that has been repaired as well.  See our listing photos for a closer look.  

Tech Notes:  This particular instrument came from a collection buy out.  It was purchased from Gruhn Guitars, and had a repair crack repair done on the lower side (that rests against the leg while playing). There are various finish cracks around the body and checking from the nitro finish.  Great player at a very comfortable medium low action, with minimal relief.   There is fret wear, but it is light and no way affects playability. Brand new Martin M400 80/20 strings installed.
